Unfair Amsterdam never met a location it couldn’t curate. This means no biennale left unattended, and no gallery or studio came across that we didn’t like.

In creating new exhibitions, we search for thrilling collaborations and inspiring locations for our artists to expose their work to a broad public. We’ve worked together with partners like De School, Nest and We Are Public.

During Culture Club, an evening full of art and culture in De School organized by We Are Public, we previewed a new program; Unfair Fullscreen. Video works of several artists were projected on an immersive panoramic wall of over 10 meters long. You could listen to the works on headphones.

In Beyond Thunderdome, part three of the triad Places of Ruin, we took over Nest together with several artists, as a nomadic tribe, creating new meaning in the ruins of past the exhibitions. A post-apocalyptic exhibition in the remains of monumental architecture. For this show a few artists created art posters or digital works. We threw a superbe party to break the exhibition down.
