Where it all began

We have worked with over 120 artists in the last 5 years, a carefully curated selection by our yearly selection committees. Check out all our alumni here:

Unfair Architect Award

At our event- we offer a full program of an art fair, but present it in a way that’s truly our own. It’s crucial to place emphasis in our exhibition design; different upcoming architects get to redesign the way our fair looks and feels. The design becomes a unique work in itself, giving it that special twist that makes it part of Unfair.

The Unfair18 Architect Award is a new competition for the exhibition design of Unfair, in collaboration with the internationally renowned architecture agency UNStudio. Read all about it here.

The program

Through the years we’ve developed an extensive program in collaboration with our partners. We’ve organized live radio shows, lectures, performances, film screenings, music shows, audio tours, book presentations and dance performances.

Our program isn’t complete without the possibility to celebrate with our audience and artists. For that reason, and let’s be honest who doesn’t like to throw one, organizing parties is a mandatory part of our yearly program.

We’ve been lucky enough to receive professional critiques for our events- both through on and offline media. They’re mostly in Dutch- sorry!
